......and here is the prize................Have Fun & Good Luck!
As promised here is my template for the handbag as shown in the post below. This project was also shared over at The Pink Elephant as my DT entry for challenge #16.
Firstly you will need to cut your cardstock for the body of the bag. I recommend that you use a good weight for this to enable it to stand properly. My bag was made with K&Co re-make, but of course there are lots of others that would be suitable.
Cut one piece 11" x5.75" Score at 5.5" and then 1" either side of the first score to allow it to fold and stand. you will need to trim a small portion away at the sides............how much you trim off is personal choice. Fold the body of the bag and cut away a 'V' shape at each side at the bottom. (do let me know if you need more pictures!) I have created the flap in a pdf document which you can download http:// www.casamiacrafts.co.uk/handbagflap.pdf you will need to leave the size at 133%.
My handle is made with two strands of craft wire twisted around a pen for the curls, but sturdy cardstock would work or maybe wire edged ribbon!
I hope you will enjoy making your bag, please come back and share your creations with me and of course if you need more help just let me know..........Enjoy! :)
