My Stampin'Up! business is keeping me busy and I have my classes too and Saturday sees the first of my 'one to one' papercraft lessons which I have just launched!! All this combined with my 'normal' job and spending quality time with my ever growing family means something has to give however, I may be back in the future so keep a lookout!

Thanks to everyone that played along at any point, I am glad you enjoyed the sketch challenges!

Here I am again with sketch #21.................I hope you enjoy this one! As usual you can rotate or flip my sketch to suit your requirements, as long as i can still 'see' the sketch that is fine........also, if you want, you may combine with other challenges........saves time that way :)

My sample today uses more lovely Stampin' Up! goodies.......'Flight of the Butterfly' is a gorgeous set to work with and also has a matching punch to make life a whole lot easier!
There is a special offer coming up for this punch.....so watch this space!! Not long to wait, as it starts on March 1st and all will be revealed over at Crescent Stampin' on Monday :)

The prize for this fortnight is............

Header Picture!

Several people have asked me about the picture i have on my header...........it was taken by my lovely husband on our last trip to Portugal in October 2008.

It is a view from the clifftops at Sesmarias.....one of my most favourite places on this earth that i have had the pleasure of visiting............the coastline in this area is scattered with gorgeous little sandy coves and the most stunning of all is the beach at Praia de Coelha...................just writing this makes me want to be there..........................next year again hopefully!! And yes, that is me 'sunning' myself, not some weird sea creature that got washed up with the tide.... ........don't have far to walk to get my delicious freshly squeezed orange juice do i.... just nip up to the fabby little restaurant that you see at the top!

Tip :- The looped portion of my card was made with a 5/8" circle punch and some Papermania scalloped cardstock.................really easy to do and gives a nice result!

Handbag Template

As promised here is my template for the handbag as shown in the post below. This project was also shared over at The Pink Elephant as my DT entry for challenge #16.

Firstly you will need to cut your cardstock for the body of the bag. I recommend that you use a good weight for this to enable it to stand properly. My bag was made with K&Co re-make, but of course there are lots of others that would be suitable.

Cut one piece 11" x 5.75" Score at 5.5" and then 1" either side of the first score to allow it to fold and stand.
you will need to trim a small portion away at the sides............how much you trim off is personal choice. Fold the body of the bag and cut away a 'V' shape at each side at the bottom. (do let me know if you need more pictures!)
I have created the flap in a pdf document which you can download
http:// www.casamiacrafts.co.uk/handbagflap.pdf you will need to leave the size at 133%.

My handle is made with two strands of craft wire twisted around a pen for the curls, but sturdy cardstock would work or maybe wire edged ribbon!
